Business Mentors

The Chamber is always looking for business people to help young and start-up companies by joining a mentoring scheme. The drive is part of an initiative launched by the Department of Business, Industry and Skills to help small business grow. The Government wants to see 40,000 mentors recruited across the UK and to join a network which can match them with suitable businesses.

Nicky Griffiths, Director of Business Development said: “I would urge any individual who is willing to use their experience to help companies establish and grow to make contact with me directly at nickyg@hwchamber.co.uk . Over the coming weeks we will be collating information and contacts to feed back into BIS. I would also ask anyone who is currently acting as a mentor on a formal or informal basis to register with us as well.”
