Baxter Business College
Baxter Business and Enterprise College held a successful Enterprise day on Wednesday 14th November, which included 10 events, with 40 external speakers and over 1,100 students participating. The children took part in a number of activities, including CSI DAY - Who killed the head?, ‘Dragons Den’ and McDonalds Day – Design a new, healthy Happy Meal!
Catherine Lawson – Broadhead, Specialist School Co – ordinator at Baxter Business College was quoted on the day - 'The buzzing atmosphere around the school could easily have knocked you over. All of the students were enjoying themselves so much that they did not want the day to end. Having 40 external speakers support the Enterprise activities really energised the day'.’
The school are now excitedly looking forward to the Spring Term events which will include forming and running the School Council, and working on a 'Challenge Wall'.
