Enterprise Club Starting a business can be both daunting and exciting. There are lots of considerations even at the ideas stage. It doesn’t matter what type of business you want to start – the same basic principles apply. Now you can attend a FREE Enterprise workshop to help you to develop your business idea.

Workshop Overview

The following areas are included in the workshop: 

  • Why start your own business? – What are your reasons for starting a business and what are your personal aspirations? 
  • Your Business Idea? Is your business idea well developed, what practical steps do you need to take to turn your idea into reality? 
  • Sources of finance and Business Planning - This section considers ways in which you may be able to raise capital and the plans that you will need for financing the business? 
  • Business structure - Will the business operate as a sole trader, partnership, limited company or franchise and how do you go about setting this up? 
  • Finding premises - Where will your business operate from? Can you work from home or will you need to rent premises? 
  • Legal issues - What insurance do you need to cover your business? Do you need to apply for any licenses before you can start trading? Are you aware of the trading laws? Do you need to have employment contracts?

All workshops last for 3 hours and are delivered in conjunction with Crowther Beard in Worcester and Thorne Widgery in Herefordshire.
