'Chamber MarketPlace - Community Support'

Community Support

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has a growing number of voluntary sector members. The Chamber is passionate about ensuring that businesses from all sectors are represented and make a positive contribution to a vibrant local economy, the Voluntary Sector is an important part of this.

The business and voluntary sector are vital to local sustainability, as significant employers and as a positive influence on communities across the two counties.
Developing the right links is important and the Chamber wants to enhance the opportunities for engagement between the two sectors.

The Chamber has consulted with voluntary and community sector members and in addition to the range of voluntary sector membership benefits already provided, we have developed two new online services.

MarketPlace is the online platform that enables businesses, to promote services and access, announce and share the latest business opportunities.
The chamber has enhanced this to include a section that is dedicated to voluntary sector member organisations.

It has two objectives, the first is to enable voluntary sector members to promote their charity to the business community and the second is to provide a platform for engagement with business, to generate volunteers, particularly business people with specific skills, to provide support as trustees.

You can post three opportunities and its FREE OF CHARGE.

Register on the website to submit your ‘opportunity’ within ‘MarketPlace Community Support’ or call the Chamber on 0845 641 1444 or download the help guide here which includes top tips on how to promote your voluntary organisation.
