CHAMBER BUSINESS AWARDS 2012

Britain has a lot to celebrate in 2012 and so do Herefordshire and Worcestershire businesses.  The Chamber Business Awards 2012 in association with Worcester, Bosch Group offer an excellent opportunity for local companies to showcase their achievements, celebrate their successes and boost staff morale.  It is free and easy to enter and open to all businesses across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Connecting Education with Business

 

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce manages a variety of projects that provide a direct benefit to local communities. 'Connecting Education with Business' is a project involving a number of schools across the two counties:

Aylestone Business and Enterprise College in Hereford, Baxter College in Kidderminster, The Chase in Malvern, John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye, King Charles I School in Kidderminster, Prince Henry's High School in Evesham, Tenbury High School in Tenbury Wells, Trinity High School in Redditch,Tudor Grange Academy in Worcester, Pershore high School in Pershore, Evesham High School in Evesham, Dyson Perrins Church of England Sports College in Malvern, Hanley Castle High School in Hanley Castle, Haybridge High School in Hagley, Wolverley High School in Kidderminster and Bewdley High School in Bewdley.

The project gives young people the opportunity to:

  • Gain the confidence and skills to become effective leaders, raising their aspirations and enabling them to take responsibility for shaping their own future
  • Work alongside business people and professionals and develop successful projects
  • Build partnerships with young people and schools across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and the UK
  • Gain practical experience of the workplace and the skills they will need in the future
  • Talk directly to local business people and employers about the opportunities in different sectors
  • Voice their views about local issues
